API Integrations

SolarGrade is built to work seamlessly with the tools you already use. Our current integrations include:

The integration between Procore and SolarGrade is delivered as a Marketplace App that can be installed and configured for one or multiple Procore projects. 

Once installed, users must access the app with a Procore account that has read/write permissions to the Punch List section. To begin, the user selects a Procore company and project, then launches the SolarGrade app from the Apps list. After logging in with their SolarGrade credentials, they can choose to import, export, or sync data between both platforms. 

Key Features: 

1. Import: Imports open issues from a SolarGrade site visit into Procore as punch list items. During the import process, users can assign a Manager, Final Approver, and Assignee for the imported items. The following fields are mapped: Name, Priority, Status, Creation Date, Scope, Reference, Description, Photo and Occurrence. Repeated imports will perform a delta update, ensuring only new issues are imported without duplicating previously imported ones.  
2. Export: Exports Procore punch list items into SolarGrade as issues. Users select the SolarGrade site visit where the issues will be created. The following fields are exported: Name, Priority, Status, Description. As with imports, repeated exports will only include new items via delta processing, avoiding duplicates. 
3. Sync punch items status: After importing or exporting punch list items, users can synchronize the status of Procore punch list items with their corresponding SolarGrade issues. This sync is one-directional, from Procore to SolarGrade, and updates only the status field.

The integration between Make and SolarGrade enables users to build automated workflows that connect SolarGrade with thousands of other apps and services — limited coding required. This is done through prebuilt or custom scenarios we have built within the Make.com platform.

To get started, users connect their SolarGrade account via Make.com using an API key, then choose triggers and actions to automate tasks such as data syncing, notifications, and report sharing.

Key Features:

• Automate issue tracking: Automatically create tasks or send updates in third-party apps (e.g., Slack, Google Sheets, Airtable) when new issues are logged in SolarGrade

• Schedule data syncs: Set up recurring jobs to export site visit data, reports, or updates on a custom schedule

• Customize workflows: Design logic-based flows that fit your team's specific needs, from routing approvals to archiving reports

SolarGrade's Open API gives developers full access to integrate SolarGrade’s data and workflows with any external system. This is ideal for custom dashboards, internal tools, or syncing with platforms not natively supported.

To use the API, users generate an API key from their SolarGrade account settings and refer to the API documentation for available endpoints and data structures.
